Advanced Triage and Troubleshooting School (April 24-28, 2023)

This 5-day course includes 20% classroom and 80% hands-on training sessions. You will review basic knowledge of all parts of an emergency power supply system, job safety analysis, generator ratings and derate, proper selection, and connection for both resistive and reactive load banking. Review and troubleshooting Voltage regulators, governors, fuel systems, transfer switches, starting systems, block heaters, and cooling systems using load banks to assist will be stressed. Triage and problem-solving skills will be used to identify and correct problems/faults during this fun-filled class. Proper cable selection/inspection, proper meter use, gathering/calculating/documenting load test data and document results, site, and environmental conditions, and potential problems/corrective actions will be covered thoroughly.

Details:

Travel and lodging to and from training are not provided. Lunches are provided for every day of training. Tools, equipment, and educational materials are provided EXCEPT for work gloves and work boots.
