Prime Power offers seminars on a variety of subjects regarding emergency power systems and power generation systems. These seminars are hosted at our state of the art training center where you will learn from our best-in-class trainers.

IEEE CEUs are available with each seminar, and lunch is provided for full-day seminars.

Meet Our Trainers

  • Richard Knittel

    VP of Technical Services

    Richard has over 30 years of power generation and generator service experience. He has been an active member of EGSA for over a decade, and holds an EGSA Journeyman certification. His areas of specialty include diesel generator systems and distribution switchgear.

  • Tom Wein

    Training Officer

    Tom has 30 years of power generation experience and two decades of training experience. He is a Master Training Specialist, EGSA Journeyman Certified, holds a Universal EPA certification, Technician Excellence instructor, and is an active EGSA member, who contributes to the organizations education and load bank committes.

  • Darell Ignelzi

    Training Specialist

    Darell has over 10 years of power generation experience. He has a masters in Emergency Management practices, and is an EGSA certified Apprentice. His areas of specialty include generator basics, battery fundamentals, and reading/mapping schematics.
